Meet the owner

Nick, a Purple Belt under Black Belt Jason Kaczmarek, owner of Proving Grounds Jiu-Jitsu , is dedicated to mastering Jiu-Jitsu and helping his students achieve their goals. After pursing a degree in law enforcement, Nick shifted all his focus and is dedicated on becoming a Black Belt World Champion, traveling the country competing at the highest levels while still giving back to his community.

With podium finishes at prestigious tournaments like IBJJF and ADCC Nick brings elite competition experience to each class. His passion for constant improvement and his ability to connect with students make him a trusted mentor both on and off the mat.
